Statue of Liberty Centennial Collection
This is my Statue of Liberty Centennial Collection. I have been working on this
since mid 2008. I have always been interested in the Statue of Liberty so I have
decided to collect items (mainly coins and stamps) from the centennial which
was July 4th, 1986. You can click on any picture to bring up a larger size.
History: This is a Statue of Liberty
Centennial first day cover. The three
pictures on the right show the overall
picture, and two closeups of the
cover. This cover contains two
stamps, one from the USA and
another from France. They are both
stamped on the centennial date of
July 4th, 1986. This is shown in the
bottom left picture. There is also a
coin in this cover which is shown in
the bottom right picture. This coin is
an uncirculated Statue of Liberty
commemorative Half-Dollar.
